Smart, happy, loving, and very very handsome... What more could you want in a dog?!  Davey is a big boy  who always has a big smile plastered across his face.  He adores all people and prefers to sit on your feet just to feel you close.  He is terrific with little dogs too, and surprisingly submissive with them -- it’s quite a sight to see him being bossed around by a little chihuahua or maltese!  Davey came to us after he was thrown from the back of a pick-up truck and then his owner pretended that Davey wasn’t his dog because he didn’t want to pay the vet bill.  But he got outstanding medical care and he is 100% healthy and fit and ready for a home.  He’s about 80 pounds of love, and is super bright and eager to please.  He responds beautifully to training and our trainer raved about his intelligence and temperament.    And with his great coloring he looks a bit like an adorable pet cow!  Come meet Davey, we’re sure you’ll fall in love!
