Georgia

5 year old pit bull

Georgia has been with us for THREE years wiating for her forever home.  She is a silly, beautiful, middle aged girl, just a great dog.  Georgia was originally found running down the street with a heavy chain and padlock dragging from her neck. She was afraid of people but some kind volunteers gently offered her food until she trusted them. Then when she learned that she didn't have to be afraid, she totally blossomed right in front of our eyes.  She is SO loving!  While she can be a little bit shy at first, she is an active, playful, happy girl.  Georgia is in a group foster home with other dogs and does well.  She is crate-trained and had a full physical check-up recently.  Because she can be overwhelmed by commotion, we would like to see her in a calm home with no young children.
